A quiet unexpected welcomes you, a pleasant breeze accompanies you at the entrance: Welcome to the Dimora Moresca.

It is located in a residential area, a short walk from the historic center of Galatone (Le), not far from the most famous sea of Salento. On paper it is a guest house, in reality it is an experience of intense relaxation, the scent of spices and memories of a distant past.

But here the arabesque lines intersect and coexist

with elements of local stone and tuff, remained intact even after the restoration of the structure: almost a fair statement of the tabernacle, however, to belong to his beloved land of Salento.

A past that has left its mark

in secret hiding places, very deep tanks, letters and musical scores of the former inhabitants.

The same past that the historical archives can only go back to 1906.

However, when a glance to see the tabernacle, including windows and colonnades, mysterious traces of the art Moorish spread between the eleventh and fifteenth centuries.
